This position involves being part of a dynamic team environment responsible for designing, developing, configuring and supporting software solutions to meet business requirements.

Primarily focused on web development on our eCommerce platform. The candidate should have experience developing clean, scalable, secure web applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate has full-stack experience working with databases, servers and browsers.

• Translate and validate business requirements and transfer into functional/technical requirement documents working within the framework and tools available
  
• Interact with Stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met
  
• Develop solutions to meet the business requirements while meeting time and cost constraints
  
• Participate in the migration of data from acquired systems into OpenText systems
  
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, code, unit test, implementation, testing) including post-production support.
  
• Adhere to Change Management procedures and best practices
  
• Investigate and fix advanced application issues
  

• A bachelor’s degree, college diploma or equivalent experience in software development
  
• 5+ years of web development experience with PHP
  
• 5+ years of experience integrating with third-party APIs using REST and SOAP
  
• 5+ years of experience creating REST and SOAP APIs
  
• 5+ years of extensive knowledge of server-side web development (PHP preferred)
  
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing database objects using best practices within Microsoft SQL Server
  
• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce transactional SQL Server development working as a SQL developer
  
• Knowledge of proper database normalization, indexing, transaction protection, and locking
  
• 5+ years of experience developing tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, and constraints
  
• 5+ years of experience using T-SQL including writing complex queries for ad-hoc requests and data analysis
  
• Aptitude in advanced design patterns including ways of implementing AOP
  
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server preferred)
  
• Ability to write comprehensive unit tests
  
• Proficient in using source control management systems (Git preferred)
  
• Experience with Linux and working on the command line
  
• Experience deriving technical requirements from non-technical sources
  
• Strong hands-on experience with web technologies, web standards& protocols
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet deadlines
  
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
