Role overview

Provide safe care via video/audio/chat. You’ll triage, diagnose, treat, and counsel patients, document thoroughly in the EMR, and escalate or refer when in-person care is required—while complying with India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Teleconsultations: Conduct synchronous (video/phone) and asynchronous (chat) consults; capture history, perform visual exams where feasible, assess red flags, and set clear follow-up plans.
  
• Clinical decisioning & prescribing: Issue e-prescriptions responsibly per Indian telemedicine norms; promote antibiotic stewardship; avoid restricted substances; request labs/imaging when appropriate.
  
• Triage & escalation: Identify emergencies and complex cases; arrange referrals to in-person facilities/specialists and coordinate hand-offs.
  
• Documentation & quality: Maintain complete SOAP notes, diagnosis codes, and care plans in the EMR; close loops on test results and callbacks; meet internal clinical audit standards.
  
• Patient education: Provide clear instructions, lifestyle advice, and medication counselling; share written summaries after each consult.
  
• Care coordination: Work with specialty panels, diagnostics partners, pharmacies, and care managers for continuity.
  
• Compliance & privacy: Obtain/record patient consent; follow clinical protocols, e-prescription and record-retention norms, and applicable data-protection requirements in India.
  
• CME & protocols: Participate in case reviews, morbidity reviews, and ongoing training; help refine triage pathways and clinical SOPs.
  

Qualifications

• MBBS with valid registration as a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) with a State Medical Council/NMC (mandatory).
  
• 1–3 years’ clinical experience (primary care, urgent care, emergency, or specialty outpatient).
  
• Certificate/coursework in telemedicine as per national guidelines (or willingness to complete within joining timeline).
  
• Comfortable with EMR/e-Rx systems, video platforms, and secure messaging; strong typing and digital bedside manner.
  

Work setup & shifts

• Quiet, private space; reliable laptop with webcam, headset, and stable broadband; backup power/hotspot.
  
• Rotational shifts including evenings/weekends/public holidays (24×7 coverage model); predictable roster shared in advance.
  

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,058.77 - ₹90,730.21 per month
