Role Description:
- Assist in the preparation of chai, snacks, and food items under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Learn and follow Delhi Chai Café’s standard recipes and kitchen hygiene protocols.
- Help with ingredient preparation, cutting, cleaning, and kitchen setup.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and assist in daily kitchen operations.
- Support in stocking inventory and managing basic kitchen supplies.
- Be open to learning new cooking methods, presentation styles, and kitchen responsibilities.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety standards at all times.
- Basic understanding of Indian cooking and a willingness to learn café-style food preparation.
- Good hygiene habits and attention to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and discipline in kitchen coordination.
- Eagerness to build a long-term culinary career in the café/QSR industry.
