We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on water metering solutions. This role involves end-to-end product development, from concept to production, with a strong emphasis on integrating IoT technologies into next-generation water meters.
Develop and improve mechanical and smart water metering products from concept to production.
Work closely with R&D, design, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure product feasibility and performance.
Conduct product validation and reliability testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IS 779, ISO 4064, MID, etc.).
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing, prototyping, and production support.Troubleshoot product issues and provide technical support to the production and service teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
1-2 years of experience in product design or development (experience in water meters, flow meters, or utility instruments is highly preferred).
Strong understanding of IoT devices, sensor technology, and embedded systems.
Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and simulation software.
Familiarity with product certification, IP ratings, and compliance testing.
Experience with IoT-enabled metering systems or smart metering infrastructure.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die-casting, and PCB assembly.
Understanding of regulatory standards for metering systems in domestic and industrial applications.
