Job Summary:


We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our event management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through event sales, corporate partnerships, and strategic alliances.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the event management sector
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, Wedding clients and brand partners
  • Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and pitch documents tailored to client needs
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that are aligned with company profitability goals
  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to ensure client expectations are met
  • Attend industry events, expos, and networking meets to enhance brand visibility
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets and maintain accurate sales

  • Provide post-event follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business


Requirements:


  • Bachelor�s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the event industry
  • Strong network of corporate clients, Wedding clients, agencies, and decision-makers is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
  • Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and proposal writing
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and expos as needed


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with BTL (Below-the-Line) activities, corporate events, Wedding events, exhibitions, product launches, or brand activations
  • Knowledge of budgeting and event execution processes
  • Creative mindset with strong client servicing skills


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
