Calypso Developer

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in Calypso configuration, development, and support, particularly in the areas of settlements and cash flow management within the Capital Markets domain. This role involves managing post-trade workflows, trade lifecycle processing, and integration with downstream systems while working closely with stakeholders like Operations users.

• Calypso Configuration & Customization:
  

+ Configure and manageCalypso modulesfor settlements and cash flow management.

+ Work on customizations includingWorkflows,BOMessages,BOTransfers,Scheduled Tasks,Reports, andEngines.

• Trade Lifecycle Management:
  

+ Handleend-to-end trade lifecycle processingwith a focus onStraight-Through Processing (STP).

+

• System Integration:
  

+ Work withSWIFT messaging,SSI management, andcustodian integration.

• Collaboration:
  

+ Interact with Operations users to address trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.

Calypso Expertise:

• Minimum5 years of hands-on experiencein Calypso.
  
• Proficiency inCalypso version 16 or higher, including work withCalypso APIs.
  
• Deep understanding ofsettlements workflowsandcash flow management.
  
• Solid knowledge ofEquities,FX,Fixed Income, andDerivativesinstruments.
  

Technical Skills:

• Java Development:
  

+ Minimum4 years of hands-on experienceinCore Java (JDK 1.8 or above).

• Database Knowledge:
  

+ Proficiency in writingSQL queriesfor databases likeOracleorSybase.

• Unix Skills:
  

+ Basic understanding ofUnix commands.

• Version Control:
  

+ Familiarity with tools likeSVNorGit.

Trading Processes:

• Strong understanding oftrade settlement,reconciliation, andreportingprocesses.
  

Soft Skills:

• Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skillswith alearn-to-do attitude.
  
• Strongcommunication and interpersonal skillsto work effectively with stakeholders.
  
• Ability to work independently from day one.
  

Agile Methodologies:

• Experience working inAgile environmentsfor project delivery.
  

• Proven hands-on experience inCalypso module configuration, development, and support.
  
• Exposure totest automation and scripting(advantageous).
