Primary Responsibility:
- To handle after the complete manufacturing processes as per SOP�s defined from initial process to the final output. (Drawing/stranding/bunching/Insulation/Inner Sheathing/Armoring/Outer sheathing/Rewinding /Curing etc.)
- Need to ensure quality output as per the product technical datasheet/ Design sheet as guided by the specification standards.
- To maintain and enforce safe workplace environment and conditions. Focus on the safety of all the colleagues and subordinates.
- Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor by implementing 5S practices.
- Adherence/Implementation of the production plan for on time delivery to the customer.
- Arrange all the materials, tools and equipment for the smooth production process in a systematic manner.
- Train people within his workgroup after Identifying the skill gaps in the workforce as per their work responsibilities.
- Need to maintain the machines/equipment in very good working conditions.
9. Control the waste generation (Scrap)in the process as per target limits defined by the management and improve further.
10.Working on continual improvement is his field of responsibility. Suggest poka-yoke to avoid repetitive errors by with upgradation or low cost automation on the machines wherever possible.
11.Deliver/achieve all the parameters of KPI’s defined for the role .
