Purpose of the Role


Lead the EAP business as a distinct growth vertical: full P&L ownership, operational excellence, product differentiation (beyond low-cost tele‑consult models), client outcome delivery, and

international network expansion in Asia & Middle East—building a clinically robust, scalable and data-driven mental wellbeing offering.


Key Accountability Areas


  • P&L Ownership & Growth
  • Annual revenue, gross margin & EBITDA targets for EAP vertical.
  • Pricing strategy (enterprise, tiered bundles, outcome-based / utilization-linked models).
  • Drive upsell / cross-sell across existing corporate accounts (integration with preventive, primary & OPD).
  • Market & International Expansion
  • Build & accredit a cross-border provider network (psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, coaches) with defined credentialing standards.
  • Launch in priority geographies with localized clinical, language & cultural capability.
  • Strategic partnerships/JVs with regional EAPs, tele‑mental health startups, or global networks for rapid footprint.
  • Product & Differentiation
  • Define product roadmap: guided care pathways, CBT/DBT digital tools, resilience programs, manager enablement modules, crisis intervention, leadership coaching, analytics dashboards.
  • Integrate with RxN platform & wellness engagement layer; ensure seamless SSO & data flows.
  • Clinical Quality & Compliance
  • Establish and audit clinical governance: credentialing, session quality scoring, supervision models, escalation protocols (suicide risk, trauma, substance use).
  • Ensure compliance with Indian and target-country regulations (data privacy, cross-border practice rules).
  • Operations & Delivery Excellence
  • SLA adherence (response time, counsellor allocation, incident resolution).
  • Scalable scheduling, multilingual support, 24/7 helpline / chat architecture.
  • Automation for triage, utilization forecasting, and capacity planning.
  • Data, Outcomes & ROI
  • Define outcome framework: utilization quality mix, symptom improvement indices (PHQ‑9, GAD‑7), absenteeism / presenteeism correlations, engagement depth (repeat sessions, digital tool adoption).
  • Produce quarterly �Mental Wellbeing Impact Reports†for strategic clients.
  • Brand & Thought Leadership
  • Position Truworth EAP as �comprehensive mental wellbeing & behavioural health platformâ€ï¿½differentiated from ‘helpline-only� models currently prevalent in some regions.
  • Publish whitepapers, speak at industry forums, support internal thought leadership narratives.
  • Team Leadership & Culture
  • Build a high-performing, mission-driven team; institute OKR discipline.
  • Develop internal counsellor / coach capability pipeline (train-the-trainer).
  • Risk & Governance
  • Incident management & root cause analysis (clinical incidents).
  • Vendor & partner risk assessments.
  • Client Success & Retention
  • Improve retention, NPS, contract expansions; reduce churn.
  • Executive business reviews (ROI storytelling & benchmarks).


Candidate Profile


Experience


  • 10+ years total; 5�7+ years in building or scaling mental health / EAP / health benefits / behavioural health or allied healthcare service lines.
  • Prior P&L or large business unit ownership (≥USD 5M equivalent).
  • Demonstrated international provider or partner network expansion (preferably in emerging markets).
  • Exposure to enterprise B2B sales cycles with large corporates / insurers / brokers.
  • Familiarity with clinical governance & mental health outcome instruments (PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, WHODAS, etc.).


Competencies


  • Strategic & commercial acumen: pricing, unit economics, margin management.
  • Operational rigor: building processes, SLA dashboards, capacity models.
  • Clinical empathy with business lens�able to translate outcomes to corporate ROI.
  • Partnership negotiation (white-label, JV, exclusivity structures).
  • Data fluency: can interrogate cohort utilization, funnel leakage, intervention efficacy.
  • Strong executive communication & narrative storytelling.
  • Change leadership & talent development.


Education


  • MBA / Master�s in Health Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • Clinical background (psychology / psychiatry / counselling) is a plus but not mandatory if strong exposure to clinical operations exists.
