We are hiring an experienced
Scala Developer who is well-versed in functional programming, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications. You’ll work on high-performance systems using Akka or Lagom frameworks and build scalable solutions with messaging, search, and analytics integrations.- Design and develop scalable microservices using Scala (Akka).
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Integrate messaging workflows using Apache Pulsar.
- Implement data access layers using Slick with PostgreSQL.
- Enhance search and analytics via Elasticsearch.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes).
- Participate in agile development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and demos.
- Troubleshoot and resolve scalability, performance, and reliability issues.
- Strong expertise in Scala programming.
- Hands-on experience with Akka or Lagom.
- Proficient in microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Experience with Apache Pulsar or similar messaging platforms.
- Strong skills in PostgreSQL, Slick, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
