- Monitor and manage patients admitted in the ICU under the supervision of Intensivists/Consultants.
- Conduct initial assessments, monitor vital signs, and document daily progress notes.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer appropriate treatment as per protocols.
- Perform procedures such as IV cannulation, arterial line insertion, central line monitoring (under supervision if required), intubation (if trained), and assist in code blue situations.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient data in medical records and hospital systems.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and ensure prescribed treatments and medications are administered appropriately.
- Communicate with patient relatives regarding updates and progress, as directed by the Consultant.
- Maintain hygiene, infection control protocols, and compliance with ICU safety standards.
