- Candidate should be able to differentiate between Fiber, UTP, Single Mode & Multimode cables. He should have hands on experience of cable Laying, termination, commissioning, patching of fiber & Copper cables.
- He should be aware about testing activities to be performed during troubleshooting / Retrofitting work. He should have knowledge of operating fiber/UTP cable testers.
- He Should have knowledge of various zones in Network segment (Like Prod, PCIDSS, DMZ & UAT) & Patching in particular zone as per work assignment.
- He Should have knowledge of crimping copper cables & should have a knowledge of color codes.
- He should take all details of faulty/Good part from requestor over mail along with bank DC manager approval.
- Candidate should have a knowledge of making BOQ as per requirement.
- Candidate should have a Fiber cable splicing knowledge, In case of emergency he can be able to do the splicing of the cables.
- He Should have knowledge of network ports available in network switches & able to provide respond over mail for passive cabling queries.
- He Should be prompt while responding to any feasibility or cabling work requirement.
- Identification of SAN/LAN/UTP port in incident
