Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator / DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Linux Administrator / DevOps Engineer to lead the administration, optimization, and automation of our Linux-based infrastructure and DevOps processes. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Linux systems, scripting, automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms. You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, ensuring high availability, enhancing security, and enabling rapid development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.) across production and development environments.
  
• Design, build, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) to support agile software development and deployment.
  
• Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
  
• Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Administer and optimize configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes.
  
• Support and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, compute, and storage services.
  
• Ensure security hardening, compliance, and regular patching of Linux systems.
  
• Monitor system health, performance tuning, and proactive incident response.
  
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
  
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior system administrators and DevOps team members.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
  
• 3+ years working in DevOps roles with experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, file systems, and networking fundamentals.
  
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  
• Proficient with Git version control systems.
  
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
  
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
  
• Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python, Perl, or similar).
  
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Good understanding of security best practices in Linux and cloud environments.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (RHCE, CKA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
  
• Experience with microservices architecture.
  
• Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and serverless computing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
