Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Medical Representative to join our pharmaceutical sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting a diverse range of ethically marketed prescription products primarily in the therapeutic areas of Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, and Paediatrics. This role demands strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to building lasting relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Promotion: Promote and create awareness about the company�s portfolio among doctors (Gynecologists, Orthopaedicians, Physicians, Paediatricians) through ethical detailing.
  • Doctor Visits: Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals in the assigned territory to ensure brand presence and generate prescriptions.
  • Scientific Communication: Deliver product information backed by clinical data, handle objections professionally, and support doctors with product literature and samples.
  • Territory Management: Plan and execute daily field activities, maintain doctor call averages, and manage doctor coverage frequency as per company norms.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and stockists.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitor activities, new product launches, and market dynamics to provide feedback to management.
  • Sales Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of field work, doctor interactions, and sales progress via daily call reports and CRM tools.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science / Pharmacy / Commerce
  • 1-3 years of experience in pharma sales (preferably in Gynae, Ortho, MD, or Paed segments)
  • Freshers with good communication skills and science background may also be considered
