We are hiring a skilled OT Technician to support surgical procedures and maintain a sterile, well-equipped operating theatre.
The ideal candidate will be technically sound, detail-oriented, and capable of assisting in both routine and emergency surgeries.
Prepare the OT with
sterile instruments, materials, and equipment before each procedure.Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
Handle, identify, and
maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment.Support
anesthesia procedures, monitor patient vitals, and adjust equipment as directed.Troubleshoot and ensure all
OT equipment is functioning properly.Follow
strict sterilization and disinfection protocols.Maintain cleanliness and
infection control in the OT at all times.Assist with patient transfers and ensure documentation of
OT activities.Apply knowledge of
wound types and care techniques during and after surgeries.Proficiency in
surgical instrument handling and equipment maintenance.Knowledge of
sterilization, disinfection, and infection control procedures.Understanding of
anesthesia support and patient monitoring.Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
BSc in
Operation Theatre Technology (BSc OTT) or equivalent.At least
