Job Summary:


The Primary English Facilitator will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students from Grades 1 to 5. The role involves planning and implementing curriculum-aligned lessons, fostering a love for reading and writing, and supporting the development of communication skills in young learners.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons in accordance with the school�s curriculum framework and learning objectives.
  • Use innovative, age-appropriate pedagogical methods to make learning interactive and student-centered.
  • Integrate phonics, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing into daily instruction.
  • Encourage oral communication through discussions, storytelling, presentations, and role-plays.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress, achievements, and feedback.
  • Provide individualized support to students with varied learning needs and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
  • Collaborate with other facilitators and coordinators to ensure interdisciplinary learning and thematic integration.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and development during PTMs and through regular updates.
  • Participate in school events, workshops, training sessions, and curriculum planning meetings.
  • Promote a reading culture through book clubs, library activities, reading challenges, etc.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor�s degree in English / Education (B.Ed. preferred).
  • Minimum 2�4 years of relevant teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/IB/Cambridge curriculum (as applicable).
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
