Purchase Manager / Head with 8+ years required for a listed MEP/HVAC pipe & metal supports manufacturer at Juinagar, Mumbai
Prior manufacturing experience in MEP/HVAC supports with factory exposure preferred
JD:
- Strategically source technical materials (pipe supports, fasteners, structural/fabricated metal products) aligned with production needs
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers ; manage vendor relationships and performance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost-effective sourcing
- Coordinate with design, engineering, production, and stores to plan materials and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Lead procurement team operations and drive continuous process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/MM).
- Monitor market trends, implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure accurate documentation and audit readiness.
Salary up to Rs 17 lakh per annum (can be slightly increased depending upon the caliber)
