We are looking for a
Quality Control Supervisor to oversee daily inspection activities in the foundry. This role ensures that castings meet quality standards during production and before dispatch.- Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspection of castings
- Check castings for dimensions, visual defects, and other quality parameters
- Ensure proper use of measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, gauges)
- Maintain inspection records, quality checklists, and rejection reports
- Identify and report non-conformities and support root cause analysis
- Coordinate with production and final quality teams to solve quality issues
- Guide inspection staff and ensure work is done as per quality standards
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and assist in audits
- Monitor rework and rejection rates, and implement improvements
- Ensure shopfloor discipline, documentation, and 5S in the QC area
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Foundry or related field
- 2�5 years of experience in quality control in a CI / SG foundry
- Knowledge of casting defects, quality tools, and basic NDT is a plus
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret measurements
- Basic computer skills for QC reporting
- Leadership ability to guide a small team
- Must be detail-oriented, responsible, and process-driven
