Job Description


The Sales Officer - Distribution is responsible for managing and growing the distribution network in a defined territory. This includes working closely with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to drive primary and secondary sales, ensure product availability, and achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Appoint, manage, and nurture distributors and stockists in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for both primary (distributor-level) and secondary (retail-level) sales.
  • Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and placement across the retail channel.
  • Regularly visit distributors and retailers to build strong relationships and ensure order generation.
  • Monitor distributor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Plan and execute route plans for retail market visits.
  • Identify new market opportunities and suggest market expansion strategies.


Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor�s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1�3 years of experience in distribution sales
  • Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales operations.
  • Good knowledge of local geography and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
