We are looking for an experienced
Senior Merchandiser to manage end-to-end merchandising operations for our garment manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client communication, order execution, vendor coordination, and production follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.- Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and the company.
- Understand client requirements, pricing, and order details.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international clients.
- Ensure seamless communication regarding sampling, approvals, and production timelines.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams for new product development.
- Ensure timely development and approval of samples.
- Work closely with fabric and trims suppliers to source raw materials as per buyer specifications.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Liaise with factory teams in Vapi for order execution and troubleshooting.
- Track raw material procurement, inventory levels, and stock utilization.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Prepare accurate cost sheets considering fabric, trims, labor, and overheads.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize pricing and margins.
- Maintain cost control without compromising on quality and delivery.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, or a related field.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Software Proficiency: MS Excel, ERP/MIS systems, and Google Sheets.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of garment manufacturing processes, fabric sourcing, and quality standards.
- Experience working with domestic players, international brands or export houses.
- Knowledge of sustainability and compliance standards in garment manufacturing.
Travel: Frequent visits to the factory in Vapi
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
