We’re

Blurn/Bismath, a global digital marketing and web development agency with clients in Australia, the UK, and the USA. We are looking for an experienced PHP & WordPress Developer to join our extended team on a 3-month initial contract, with the potential for extension upon successful performance. This is a long-term, stable opportunity for developers who enjoy working independently while contributing to a collaborative international team.

What You’ll Do (Senior Developer Responsibilities)

• Develop and maintain Custom WordPress websites, Woocommerce Product, themes, and plugins. The website should be 100% responsive and compatible for all browsers.
  
• Build and support projects in core PHP and PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP.
  
• Customize design elements using HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript to enhance UI/UX.
  
• Handle website performance optimizations, security best practices, and monthly maintenance tasks.
  
• Customize WooCommerce Product and Shopify websites as needed.
  
• Develop APIs and integrate advanced functionalities such as payment gateways, CRM systems, etc.
  
• Oversee and guide junior developers remotely (team coordination experience is essential).
  
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver on project timelines and quality standards.
  
• Proven experience with REST APIs, MySQL, GIT, and web security best practices
  
• Exposure to OWASP guidelines and WCAG 2.1 compliance
  
• Knowledge of web services and database architecture

• Good knowledge of CMS like WordPress | relational databases, version control tools, and of developing web services

You must have a quiet and dedicated home office setup with a laptop, mobile phone, and stable internet connection. Since this is a fully remote role with flexible working hours, we use Hubstaff (or a similar tool) to track work hours and tasks.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
