Shipping Coordinator

Ensure timely updating and reporting of the Shipment Tracking Report for both import and export shipments. Coordinate the submission and collection of veterinary permits to facilitate prompt clearance. Additionally, manage the timely submission and renewal of tax and duty exemptions, maintain an up-to-date exemptions balance sheet for imported raw materials, and proactively renew licenses before expiry to minimize costs associated with imported raw materials.

What we ask

• 3 years of experience in the logistics field with knowledge of shipping Incoterms
  
• Exposure to HS code-related matters
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently
  
• Familiar with forwarding and customs procedures
  
• Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders

Vacancy description

• Keep track of and control container movements, ensuring compliance with the stipulated turnaround time from discharge to empty return to the depot.
  

• Coordinate and supervise operational activities within the team and cross-functionally, adhering to applicable safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
  
• Analyze operational processes from supply chain to inter-departmental workflows, evaluate bottlenecks, identify opportunities, and implement approved improvements in processes, procedures, and/or systems within the department.
  
• Plan and track inbound distribution and transportation in accordance with applicable planning requirements, regulations, and guidelines.
  
• Plan and coordinate assigned operational improvement projects in line with project management guidelines.
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, OSHA 18001, and the company�s SHE policies and procedures
