- Develop detailed solar PV system designs for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects, considering site-specific conditions, energy requirements, and client specifications.
- Perform comprehensive shading analysis, energy production estimates (yield analysis), and performance simulations using specialized software (e.g., PVsyst, HelioScope, AutoCAD, Arka 360).
- Optimize system layouts for maximum energy yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, including module selection, inverter sizing, string configurations, and array orientations.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), array layouts, electrical schematics, and structural layouts using CAD software.
- Develop technical specifications for all system components, including PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, protection devices, and monitoring systems.
- Generate bill of materials (BOM) and equipment lists for procurement.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and proposals for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct site assessments (remotely or on-site as required) to evaluate factors such as solar irradiance, available space, shading obstructions, structural integrity, and grid interconnection possibilities.
- Perform feasibility studies and detailed engineering analysis for proposed projects.
