Sr Automation Test Engineer

• Provides Software QA Engineering across multiple applications and system elements.
  
• Defines testing requirements.
  
• Contributes to architecture / design reviews.
  
• Designs, develops and executes test plans including performance testing.
  
• Develops, enhances and maintains well-formed and scalable test frameworks.
  
• Writes high quality documentation, identifying and recommending solutions to observed issues.
  
• Evaluates new feature impact on existing tests; evaluates feasibility of new feature testing.
  
• Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  
• Supports team members in writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions.
  

Prepares and estimates effort and timeline and prepares an overall test plan.

• Provides regular status update for self / team to lead / manager.
  
• Assists in creation of training / upskilling plan for less experienced resources.

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Good experience in creating framework for API Testing.

K nowledge to send requests to an API, receive responses, and validate the functionality, performance, security, and reliability of the API
