We are seeking an experienced
Sr Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins within an on-premises environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, and automation tools, along with scripting and core Java knowledge.- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on on-prem infrastructure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, and Docker Registry
- Create and manage Docker images, and ensure secure and scalable microservices deployment
- Use configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Support and automate application builds and deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize and streamline DevOps practices
- Implement robust solutions for monitoring, logging, and security
- Work with infrastructure components such as Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations
- Leverage scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and task efficiency
- Apply knowledge of core Java, J2EE, Spring for application support and integration
- Experience in cloud-native and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud environments
- Certifications like CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are a plus
