Staff engineer Design

Developing the specification, implementation, test and support of Design Flow infrastructure tools.

In your new role you will:

• Responsible for implementation, test, documentation and support of IP-Regression product.
  
• The main programming languages in the project is Python on Unix/Linux.
  
• Responsible for understanding some aspects of CAD flow (VLSI) and then automate related design steps.
  
• Work on tickets raised by customers on JIRA and respond to them in a timely fashion.
  
• Work in project scrum team and follow all scrum practices.
  
• Contribute to alignment with customers on project requirements and project presentations.
  
• Comply with Flow coding standards and ensuring compliance with all Infineon Quality/Process practices in flow development.
  

Drive value through Innovation: Contribute with ideas and implementation to increase productivity of the design flow like better coding practices, publishing best practices, automating manual operations etc.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
  
• Bachelors or Masters in computer science / Electronics/IT
  
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming.
  
• Excellent in Python programming.
  
• Good (hands on) knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting.
  
• Working knowledge of development/process tools like Git-BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence
  
• Clear communication skills, team player attitude, acts in a self-responsible way.
  
• Working understanding CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, StockStorm, Camunda
  
• Highly Desired: Experience in Semiconductor /EDA/ Tool development domains.
