We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Team Lead – Transport (Manual Routing) to oversee and manage daily transport operations with a strong focus on manual routing. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for planning, optimizing, and monitoring vehicle routes to ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.- Lead and manage a team of transport executives involved in route planning and dispatch coordination.
- Perform manual routing of vehicles based on delivery schedules, location clusters, and vehicle capacities.
- Analyze transport data to identify route optimization opportunities and reduce transit times or fuel consumption.
- Ensure accurate allocation of vehicles and drivers based on route complexity and customer demands.
- Monitor real-time transport activities and proactively resolve any delays, deviations, or issues.
- Liaise with internal departments (warehouse, customer service) and external vendors for smooth execution.
- Maintain detailed records of daily routing, dispatches, vehicle usage, and performance metrics.
- Train and mentor new team members in routing techniques, transport SOPs, and compliance norms.
- Ensure adherence to all transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Bachelor�s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in transport operations, with 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on experience in manual routing, fleet allocation, and route optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and leadership skills to manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and transport tracking tools.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (if required).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
