A Tyre Mold EDM Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines to create the intricate patterns and features on tyre molds. This role requires precision, technical skill, and the ability to interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality molds efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating EDM machines, including wire EDM, and experience with programming software
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to machine operation and programming.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are crucial for producing high-quality tyre molds.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Education and Experience: Typically requires a diploma or vocational training in a related field, with experience in EDM operation and programming.
