Design Engineer

This role involves driving the design and development of engineering products and systems, focusing on performance, precision, and process improvement within the automation and engineering sector.

• Ensure fulfillment of design & development reviews, including calculation verification and validation.
  
• Measure, monitor, and improve design performance metrics.
  
• Capture and analyze customer requirements, expectations, and feedback.
  
• Research and prepare engineering plans, blueprints, and visual designs.
  
• Develop and test engineering prototypes.
  
• Recommend and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
  
• Use CAD/design software to model and simulate product concepts.
  
• Structural analysis knowledge is a strong advantage.
  
• Maintain engineering records and documentation as per ISO 9001 standards.
  
• Evaluate engineering prototypes to identify risks and improvements.
  
• Supervise or coordinate manufacturing processes linked to product designs.
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams, managers, and creative teams.
  
• Maintain and grow knowledge in SPM, MHE, structural and hydraulic systems, and design calculations.
  

• Engineering Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics preferred).
  
• Preference for married candidates with children for long-term commitment.
  
• Residence in PCMC area preferred for operational ease.
  
• Age group: 28 to 40 years.
  

• 3 to 6 years of experience in automation or industrial design.
  
• Exposure to SPM (Special Purpose Machines), MHE (Material Handling Equipment), and hydraulic systems preferred.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or other design tools.
  
• Familiarity with engineering standards and documentation practices.
