Desktop Engineer


Experience: 2-5 Years


Candidate Located in Delhi Only .


Key Accountabilities


à˜ Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.


à˜ Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.


à˜ Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.


à˜ Working knowledge of office products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.


à˜ Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.


à˜ Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue.


à˜ Record technical issues and solutions in logs.


à˜ Help create technical documentation and manuals.


à˜ Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.


à˜ Experience AV/video conferencing solutions.


à˜ Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, Patch Management, Anti-Malware, anti-virus and inventory management tools.


Key Responsibilities


à˜ Analyze, troubleshoot and solve technology issues (both remotely and on-site) received via email, phone and in-person.


à˜ Test and deploy hardware and software solutions.


à˜ Manage end-user technology projects, such as migrations, deployments and introducing new technology solutions.


à˜ Identify issues, propose solutions, and test new technologies or process changes.


à˜ Track and thoroughly detail technology issues through ticketing system.


à˜ Proactively reach out to customers about their technology needs and address issues before they occur.


à˜ Provide administration for various technology platforms in MDM, messaging, collaboration or MFA platforms.


à˜ Advanced working knowledge of configuring and trouble-shooting iOS and Android based mobile devices.


à˜ Deploy applications individually and with client management tools


à˜ Experience administering Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy.


à˜ Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.


à˜ Ensuring SLAs are met.


à˜ Documentation and Record Keeping.


à˜ Scheduling upgrades and maintaining them without interference.


à˜ System backup and data recovery planning.


à˜ Network troubleshooting and optimization.


à˜ You may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends.


Technical Competencies


à˜ Laptop/Desktop management and installation.


à˜ End Users issue management


à˜ Experience in Windows10 and 11.
