Job Description

As an

Engineer, Documentation, you will play a key role in supporting the expansion of our business by creating high-quality technical documentation for Lift Trucks. You will be part of the Port Solutions team within the Engineering Documentation department, contributing to global projects and adhering to international documentation norms. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration and global standards in technical writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality technical documentation tailored to the target audience.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for Lift Trucks, including:
  

+

Machine Cards

+

Data Sheets

+

Instruction Sheets

• Compile documentation packages including:
  

+

Start-up Reports

+

Certificates

+

Catalogues

• Upload finalized documents to Teamcenter and Customer OneDrive.
  
• Develop BU LT Content Delivery Instructions.
  
• Use Foxit for compiling technical documents.
  
• Conduct research to gather accurate inputs from sources like BOM, Order Forms, Technical Data Sheets, and Sales Orders.
  
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
  

The role is based in our office in

SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

To achieve these goals, required qualification and skill set are:

• Educational Background:
  

+ Bachelor’s degree in

Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a reputed university.

• Professional Experience:
  

+

3–5 years of hands-on experience in technical documentation, preferably within the Material Handling Equipment or Automotive Industry.

+ Proven ability to create technical documents such as:

• Machine Cards
  
• Data Sheets
  
• Instruction Sheets for asset-specific documentation.
  
• Technical Competencies:
  

+ Strong understanding of

automobile or mechanical systems.

+ Proficiency in

written English, with excellent grammar and clarity.

+ Basic working knowledge of

Teamcenter and SAP.

+ Sound grasp of

engineering fundamentals and automotive systems.

• Interpersonal & Collaborative Skills:
  

+ Ability to work effectively in

global teams.

+ Strong

interpersonal skills.

+ A

customer-centric approach to documentation and communication.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor�s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a reputed university.
