We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Food & Beverage Service Captain(Supervisor) to join our team. The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for overseeing the dining room and room service operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading the service team to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality.


Key Responsibilities


  • Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times. Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the service staff, including servers, host/hostess. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily dining room operations, including table assignments, reservations management, Barking and coordination with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area. Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Guest Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Sales: Promote and up sell menu items, beverages, and special promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on dining room activities, guest feedback, and staff performance to the management team.


Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-end restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and reservation management software.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor.
