- Supervising Housekeeping Staff: Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and conducting training for housekeeping staff.
- Maintaining Cleanliness Standards: Enforcing hygiene and cleanliness protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Guest Service: Addressing guest complaints and special requests, contributing to a positive guest experience.
- Staff Scheduling and Management: Creating and managing staff schedules, coordinating replacements, and addressing staff issues.
- Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborating with other departments, such as the front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintaining records of inspections, supplies, and other relevant information.
- Training and Development: Conducting orientation and in-service training for new and existing staff members.
- Ensuring Safety and Security: Enforcing safety and security procedures, reporting maintenance defects, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Problem Solving: Investigating and resolving complaints, addressing conflicts, and finding solutions to operational issues.
- Leading and Motivating Staff: Inspiring and motivating the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
