Injection Molding Maintenance

The Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal production performance and minimal downtime. This role plays a key part in preventive maintenance and contributes to the efficiency and safety of the manufacturing process.

Job Description

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, chillers, conveyors).
  
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues on molding machines.
  
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all performed tasks.
  
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure machines are running at peak performance.
  
• Install, calibrate, and test new machinery and equipment when required.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for machine performance and uptime.
  
• Assist with mold changes/setup as needed and inspect equipment for wear and damage.
  
• Recommend and implement improvements in maintenance practices.
  

• High school diploma or BE (Mechanical ) ; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
  
• 5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding machine maintenance.
  
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Nissei, Husky).
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  
• Familiarity with PLC systems and basic programming/troubleshooting is a plus.
  
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,058.23 per month
