The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for his key accounts to achieve his or her revenue targets and drive business growth. This role involves developing strategic Sales Plans, Proposal, Client Interaction & Lead Generation and Conversation and overseeing the sales operations of the assigned accounts, and ensuring Key Account Manager will oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients in State/Central Government Entities, Banking Sector, PSUs, and Enterprises. He/She will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. Should be able to identify customers’ needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction and growing our business to achieve long-term success.


The Key Accounts Manager should have strong knowledge in IT Peripherals and understand the client requirement and based that proposal and solutions is to be provided accordingly.


The Key Accounts Manager should possess extensive knowledge and experience in B2B sales.


The Key Accounts Manager should have knowledge and managing business through tendering processes too.


The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of minimum 50 to 70 key accounts, aiming to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.


Key Account Manager responsibilities include:


· Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition


· Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements


· Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships


· Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their business objectives


· Ensure the right products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner


· Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.


· Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.


· Prepare regular funnel and reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.


· Managing and mentoring a team of sales, business analysts and support team.


· Assist the departmental activities of budget preparation during the budgeting exercise.


· Idea generation to implementation of exhibit marketing


· Analyse, convince and implement best marketing technology as per need of the hour


· To carry out such other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
