- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, tactics, and training techniques.
- Willingness to live on campus and engage beyond the classroom.
- Bachelor�s/Master�s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed).
- NIS/AIFF/BFI certified basketball coaching qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 2�5 years of relevant experience in coaching basketball at school or professional level.
- Experience in a residential school environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for sports and student development.
- Ability to manage young learners with empathy and discipline.
- Organize sports events, camps, and workshops.
- Coordinate with other sports coaches and staff for school sports calendar activities.
- Conduct regular PE classes as per the academic timetable.
- Foster physical fitness, wellness, and teamwork among all students.
- Promote and implement health and fitness-related activities.
- Design and implement structured basketball training programs for different age groups (beginner to advanced).
- Prepare school teams for inter-house, inter-school, district, state, and national-level tournaments.
- Assess student performance and track improvement.
