As a Manager Production, reporting to Lead Production, you will be for managing end-to-endoperations, driving efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to meet quality and delivery targets. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, KPI improvement, and industrializing new products.
What will you do?* Oversee and manage daily production operations to meet performance, quality, and delivery targets.- Lead, train, and develop production supervisors, operators, and support staff to build a high-performing team.
- Plan, organize, and control production schedules and workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective output.
- Monitor and improve key production KPIs such as efficiency, OEE, downtime, scrap, and throughput.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure seamless production flow.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and complying with regulatory standards.
- Participate in strategic capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the production department.
- Implement corrective actions in response to production issues, quality deviations, or equipment failures.
- Support capital investment planning, including equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
- Experience in driving industrialization of new products.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and meet aggressive operational goals.
- Proficient in ERP and manufacturing systems (SAP) and inventory management
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, Quality management tools or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ISO standards or other industry-specific quality systems.
