As part of our expansion strategy, we are now focusing on building a strong presence in North Bengal and Sikkim, and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our business development efforts in this zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and approach potential clients, brands, and organizations in Siliguri, North Bengal, and Sikkim.
Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients across sectors like automobile, lifestyle, FMCG, real estate, etc.
Generate new business opportunities for events, exhibitions, RWA activations, and corporate campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with local clients and partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients in the region.
Understand client requirements and provide customized event solutions.
Market Research & Strategy:
Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and sales pitches for the local market.
Coordination & Execution:
Coordinate with the central Kolkata team to ensure seamless planning and execution of events.
Oversee ground-level execution when needed, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Reporting & MIS:
Maintain records of client interactions, leads generated, and follow-ups.
Prepare regular business development reports for the management.
Key Requirements:
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Siliguri.
Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in marketing/sales/business development, preferably in event management, advertising, or the brand activation industry.
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong local network and market knowledge.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
