· Meet customer demands by effective planning and scheduling
· Develop daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and internal capacity.
· Coordinate with design, CNC machining, In-house teams to ensure schedule adherence.
· Monitor WIP (Work in Progress), identify delays, and take corrective actions.
· Plan raw materials and tool requirements in coordination with procurement.
· Update and maintain planning dashboards and trackers.
· Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to avoid production bottlenecks.
· Participate in daily review meetings and communicate job priorities.
· Continuously improve planning accuracy, machine utilization, and process lead time.
· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Tool & Die/Production Engineering.
·
2–5 years of experience in toolroom or precision machining environment.· Read and understand engineering drawings GD&T requirements
· Strong understanding of machining part manufacturing processes.
· Proficiency in ERP/Excel-based planning tools.
· Proficiency in designing software like Catia, SolidWorks will be an added advantage
· Good analytical and communication skills.
· Exposure to lean manufacturing or production planning tools (MRP, Kanban, etc.).
· Familiarity with drawing interpretation and GD&T.
· Experience in handling multi-project environments.
