We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or operational environment and possess strong leadership and communication skills.- Supervise day-to-day operations on the shop floor or department
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet production or operational targets
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain quality standards and minimize rework, waste, or downtime
- Monitor machinery/equipment and coordinate with maintenance when needed
- Train, coach, and support team members to improve skill and productivity
- Report on shift progress, delays, incidents, or deviations to management
- Keep accurate records of production output, attendance, and equipment status
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Planning, Stores) for smooth workflow
- Enforce 5S, TPM, or other continuous improvement initiatives
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field preferred
- 3�6 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience in [insert industry � manufacturing, logistics, metal forming, etc.]
- Good understanding of safety, quality, and productivity metrics
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP systems)
- Shop floor / Factory / Warehouse setting
- May require shift work, weekends, or overtime depending on production schedule
- PPE required in designated areas
