Job Title: Quality Control Lead


Location: Goregoan


Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Testing and Inspection: Conduct various tests and inspections on raw materials, in- process products, and finished goods to verify they meet quality requirements.


2. Monitoring Processes: Observe and monitor production processes to identify potential issues and ensure adherence to quality standards.


3. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify defects or deviations from standards and document these findings, often through detailed reports.


4. Corrective Actions: Collaborate with production and other teams to address identified issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.


5.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any corrective actions taken is a crucial part of the role.


6. Adhering to Standards: Ensure that products and processes comply with both internal and external quality standards and regulations.


7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with the design and inventory teams to manage sample approvals, tech pack clarifications, and batch quality consistency.


Key Qualifications & Skills:


  • Prior experience (2�4 years) in garment/textile quality control, preferably with small-batch, craft-based or inclusive production units
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior, and quality assurance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret tech packs and design specifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and team coordination skills, especially in working with persons with disabilities
  • Patience, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfort with using basic digital tools for tracking and documentation
  • Fluency in Hindi and/or Marathi preferred; basic spoken English required

Location & Travel:


  • The role is based out of Mumbai, with primary operations in our workshop and partner production units
  • Local travel to supplier/vendor sites and exhibitions may be required occasionally


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
