Safety Officer

About the Role:

ConstroTech Associate LLP is looking for a vigilant and experienced Safety Officer to ensure health and safety protocols are implemented and followed at all construction sites. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in construction safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident management. This role is critical in promoting a safe work culture and ensuring compliance with legal and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce safety protocols at project sites
  
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards
  
• Organize toolbox talks, safety training, and drills for site workers
  
• Ensure use of PPE and compliance with site-specific safety guidelines
  
• Maintain documentation for safety audits, accident reports, and risk assessments
  
• Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective measures
  
• Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure safety measures are integrated into daily activities
  
• Display and maintain mandatory safety signage across sites
  
• Stay updated with latest government safety regulations and industry standards
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Industrial Safety or Civil Engineering
  
• 3�5 years of experience in safety supervision, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
  
• Certification in safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) is an added advantage
  
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and legal compliance
  
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
  
• Good communication and reporting skills
  
• Ability to train and guide site personnel on safety practices
