Responsible for delivering training programs to onboard catering staff, ground crew, and other personnel involved in travel and hospitality services. The role ensures consistent service quality, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction in travel environments.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery: Conduct induction and refresher training for food service staff on customer service, food handling, hygiene, and safety standards. Operational Coaching: Guide staff during live operations to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Service Excellence: Train employees on effective communication, complaint handling, and upselling techniques to enhance passenger experience. Food Safety Compliance: Educate staff on FSSAI/ISO standards, HACCP protocols, and safe storage, preparation, and serving practices. Menu & Product Knowledge: Train staff on menu offerings, portion control, and presentation guidelines. Performance Evaluation: Assess employee skills and knowledge, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. Training Material Development: Create and update training manuals, checklists, and e-learning content. Coordination: Work closely with HR, operations, and quality assurance teams to align training with business needs. Skills & Competencies Strong communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of hospitality and catering best practices. Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Ability to train multicultural and multilingual teams. Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel extensively.
