Role of Academic AMT (Academic Management Team)1. Academic Planning & Implementation


  • Design academic calendars and timelines (chapter plans, exams, tests).
  • Coordinate syllabus coverage and ensure timely completion.
  • Plan class schedules, subject allocation, and faculty workload.
  • Oversee implementation of teaching methodologies and strategies.


2. Faculty Coordination & Support


  • Supervise faculty performance and lesson delivery.
  • Conduct faculty meetings, training sessions, and capacity-building programs.
  • Monitor adherence to lesson plans, content delivery, and student engagement.
  • Facilitate communication between teachers and management.


3. Student Progress Monitoring


  • Track student academic performance through tests, assignments, and exams.
  • Identify weak-performing students and initiate remedial actions.
  • Maintain academic records, attendance, and reports.
  • Interact with students for academic mentoring, counseling, and motivation.


4. Content & Curriculum Management


  • Ensure proper implementation of curriculum as per board/guidelines.
  • Assist in content development and review of notes, worksheets, and assessments.
  • Ensure quality and uniformity of academic content across subjects/classes.


5. Examination & Assessment Coordination


  • Organize weekly/monthly/term exams and other assessments.
  • Ensure test papers and answer keys are prepared, moderated, and evaluated on time.
  • Analyze test results and prepare academic progress reports.
  • Coordinate with faculty to discuss post-exam analysis.


6. Parent & Stakeholder Communication


  • Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share academic progress.
  • Address academic-related concerns from parents and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a bridge between school/center management and parents.


7. Quality Assurance & Academic Audit


  • Conduct classroom observations and audits to ensure quality teaching.
  • Track academic indicators (completion rates, performance levels, feedback scores).
  • Implement academic improvement plans based on audit findings.


8. Reporting & Documentation


  • Maintain all academic reports, test scores, faculty plans, student feedback, etc.
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to senior management.
  • Maintain documentation for inspections, affiliations, or accreditations.
