As an AI Engineer at UCH.AI, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI, while integrating cutting-edge Generative AI tools like LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI APIs. You will design and manage AI workflows, including NLP pipelines, real-time data streaming, and vector database integrations. Your role will also involve creating robust data processing pipelines, ensuring high performance across SQL/NoSQL databases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation. You’ll play a key role in driving innovation, optimizing backend performance, and leading technical execution within a fast-paced startup environment.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend systems using Python and FastAPI frameworks.
  
• Implement and integrate Generative AI tools like LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, and similar platforms into scalable applications.
  
• Work with data processing pipelines, implementing Numpy, Pandas, and other tools for efficient data manipulation and filtration.
  
• Handle real-time data streaming and processing using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  
• Develop and manage data pipelines for AI workflows using Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  
• Build and maintain database solutions, optimizing for performance and scalability, using relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  
• Design data preprocessing pipelines for large datasets, ensuring data quality and handling imbalanced datasets in NLP tasks.
  
• Develop and maintain NLP pipelines, including tasks like text preprocessing, sentiment analysis, and vector embedding generation.
  
• Handle and integrate vector databases for high-performance AI-powered applications.
  
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless API integration and user experience.
  
• Build and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD pipelines for the backend system.
  
• Debug and optimize performance bottlenecks in backend services.
  
• Should be able to lead the team from the front and get things done.
  

• Minimum 3+ and maximum 5+ years of experience.
  
• Proficiency in Python (5+ years) and hands-on experience with FastAPI.
  
• Strong understanding of Generative AI frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI, or similar technologies.
  
• Experience working with Numpy, Pandas, and similar libraries for data manipulation and transformation.
  
• Knowledge of NLP tools such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
  
• Familiarity with vector embeddings and vector database technologies (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).
  
• Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing for performance under high data volume.
  
• Experience in integrating APIs and microservices into larger systems.
  
• Proficiency in building and managing real-time data pipelines with tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration in AI systems.
  
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying scalable solutions.
  
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
  
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or managing small technical teams.
  
• Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion independently.
  
• Strong communication and decision-making skills in cross-functional team environments.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
