AI Research Intern – Python + Applied Experiments

About the Role:
We’re building an
AI-powered Interview Practice & Hiring Platform that simulates real interviewers using LLMs like GPT-4. We're looking for an AI Research Intern who loves to explore the bleeding edge of LLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation techniques, and model comparison.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
experimenting with models, running quality benchmarks, and turning research into real product features.Responsibilities:
- Run comparative experiments between different LLMs (e.g. GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, Gemini) for mock interview use-cases
- Evaluate response quality using metrics like relevance, accuracy, tone, helpfulness, hallucination, etc.
- Design test cases for different interview question types: behavioral, technical, MCQs, coding
- Write Python scripts to automate prompt testing, scoring, and result logging
- Research and document best practices in prompt engineering, AI feedback, and evaluation
- Collaborate with prompt, product, and backend teams to implement findings
Skills Required:
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, token handling, and temperature settings
- Basic knowledge of NLP concepts (tokenization, embeddings, semantic similarity)
- Structured thinking + clear documentation writing
