Barista – Dessert Counter who can match our energy and deliver excellence with every plate and cup.


Position Summary:


The

Barista – Dessert Counter will be responsible for crafting premium coffee beverages, curating coffee-based cocktails, and preparing authentic Greek and fusion desserts. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume nightlife venues and a flair for presentation, guest interaction, and fast-paced service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks, cold brews, and coffee-based cocktails with consistency and style.
  • Present and plate traditional Greek desserts (e.g., Baklava, Galaktoboureko) and signature Thalassa specials.
  • Collaborate with chefs and mixologists to develop coffee-dessert pairings and seasonal beverage-dish concepts.
  • Maintain dessert display aesthetics during nightclub hours and themed events.
  • Operate equipment like espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers, and dessert refrigeration units.
  • Manage stock and reorder supplies for desserts, syrups, coffee beans, and garnishes.
  • Follow all hygiene, health, and safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
  • Engage with guests, upsell premium beverages and dessert items, and handle feedback professionally.
  • Support late-night operations during club hours, ensuring quality and speed of service.


Qualifications & Requirements:


  • 1�3 years of experience in a similar role in upscale cafes, restaurants, or nightlife venues.
  • Knowledge of Greek desserts and Mediterranean flavors is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in coffee brewing, latte art, and basic cocktail mixing.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay composed in a high-energy environment.
  • Good communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and peak season hours.
