We are seeking an experienced
Bodyshop Manager to oversee and manage our bodyshop operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automotive repair and refinishing, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset.- Manage end-to-end bodyshop operations including estimation, repair, painting, and delivery.
- Supervise a team of technicians, painters, and service advisors ensuring productivity and quality.
- Handle insurance claims, coordination with surveyors, and accurate billing.
- Ensure optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring timely service and quality workmanship.
- Monitor workshop KPIs like TAT (Turnaround Time), revenue, and customer feedback.
- Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the workshop.
- Train and mentor junior staff and technicians.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in bodyshop management.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive body repair and refinishing processes.
- Familiarity with insurance processes and accident claims handling.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of customer service and quality control.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or DMS systems.
- Based in Chennai or willing to relocate immediately.
- Can join immediately or within 15 days.
- Prior experience in authorized service centers (OEM workshops) preferred.
