We are looking for a
Final Quality Inspector to check and approve the quality of finished castings before dispatch. The role requires experience in visual inspection, dimensional checking, and documentation.- Perform visual inspection of CI and SG castings for surface defects, cracks, blow holes, etc.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using tools like Vernier, micrometer, and gauges
- Check castings as per drawing specifications and quality standards
- Prepare final inspection reports and mark OK / Not OK status
- Ensure that only approved parts go for dispatch or machining
- Report non-conformities and assist in rejection analysis
- Work closely with production and quality team to resolve issues
- Maintain inspection tools and follow safety and 5S practices
- Help during customer audits and third-party inspections
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field)
- 2�5 years of experience in quality inspection (foundry preferred)
- Good understanding of castings and machining drawings
- Able to use measuring instruments accurately
- Basic documentation and report writing skills
- Knowledge of NDT / hardness testing is an added advantage
- Must be detail-oriented, disciplined, and team-focused
