Generator Technician

A Generator Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical generator systems and related mechanical components. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable power generation. Technicians also interact with customers, communicate repair details, and maintain accurate records.

• Setting up new generators and associated equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
  
• Performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. Diagnosing and repairing generator issues, including engine, electrical, and control system problems.
  
• Identifying the root cause of generator malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  
• Conducting regular checks and services to prevent potential issues and extend the lifespan of the generator.
  
• Communicating with customers about service needs, repair progress, and solutions. Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships.
  
• Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and expenses.
  
• Following all safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work, working with hazardous materials, and operating equipment.
  
• Being available for emergency repairs and after-hours service as needed.
  

• Strong knowledge of diesel and gas-powered generators, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex generator issues.
  
• Proficiency in working with tools, interpreting schematics, and understanding electrical codes.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  
• Providing excellent service and building positive customer relationships.
  
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.
  
• Necessary for traveling to different job sites.
  

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,001.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
