Maintenance Manager

· B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

· Over 10 years of experience in engineering/maintenance roles within pharma formulation or similar regulated industries.

· Experience in handling regulatory inspections and audits., documentation.

· Proactive and strategic thinker with strong planning capabilities.

· Willing to be based in Silvassa.

· In-depth technical expertise in plant utilities, equipment maintenance, and engineering systems.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Proficient in maintenance planning software and ERP tools.

· Strong understanding of regulatory compliance – WHO-GMP, USFDA, MHRA, etc.

· Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Lead and oversee all maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, HVAC, and plant infrastructure.

· Ensure uninterrupted operations through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

· Supervise a multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers to maintain machinery uptime and efficiency.

· Manage and maintain utility systems such as boilers, chillers, AHUs, compressors, RO/WFI systems, etc.

· Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and audit readiness of engineering systems.

· Prepare and control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle planning.

· Coordinate with production, QA, and validation teams to ensure engineering support for manufacturing needs.

· Lead engineering documentation, including SOPs, maintenance records, calibration logs, and qualification protocols.

· Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and facilities.

· Identify areas for process improvement, energy optimization, and cost reduction.
